Definition of Domestic Violence Broadens

The Family Law Act 1975 has amended the definition of domestic violence to now include

· Emotional manipulation
· Stalking
· Damaging or destroying property
· Withholding money
· Preventing one from seeing family and friends
· Harming the family pet
